There is Power in your Whisper
I once wrote these nuggets of wisdom
In a book I threw away but didn’t know why
Now, somehow, I live by these mantras
Chewing each daily as a dose…
Quelling those endless excuses
Enjoying the ride, silencing the pride
Being Thankful for everything
We can have everything we dream of
All just in a matter of time
And a matter of seasons: there to teach us how to grow
Loving cold winter days as the spring emerges fast
Dancing us into summer and then the drooping of orange leaves
Look after the body God gave you.
Truly, Be kind to YOU
Eat good food- not junk
Teach and live out your values so children can learn
To spend money wisely on what truly satisfies
Family, friends, charity, holidays, time out, me time, clothes that fit
Shoes that give pleasure each time you put them on
Share who you are with your family and friends
What you are, is a gift to all
Be humble and kind
Don’t let others dictate who you are
Your life is yours to live
Walk with your head held high-ALWAYS.
Un-bow the bow in your neck, stand TALL
Pace yourself when you need to
Learn to love again when love has “failed” you
Appreciate the people in your life, one day at a time
You are welcome at this table
What you utter is important
There is Power in your Whisper
You were born for such a time as this
To share a Smile, share Laughter
Cry together, not alone in your wail…
Let your holiday take you where Godly fantasy calls
Give yourself the best of what you let the others see
Declutter your life and of course, your wardrobe
Ignorance cripples, so choose wise counsel every time
Ask the question of why with grace
Say please,
Say thank you
Ask how are you...and mean it
Tell your man you love him often
Tell your woman she is the best always
Show your children your love
Tell your mother you love her
Tell your dad he is the best
See the best in everyone
See beyond that first glance
