Grounded in purpose
You surround me with questions to undermine my true worth
You suck out opportunities for praise, attempting to make me look lame
Your shout and praise unmeritted on those deserving not
You quell my zeal to advance a higher ground
My shoulder is permanently poised not to cave in
Under the spell of evil deceit and harsh words as seeds
Planted in hate but doomed to revival by Purpose
Finding true purpose before condemnation set in
No chance to derail my path of Fulfilment, Success and Grace
Grace to be kind to all I see
And Grace to look on you with greater grace that you did not bestow
No one can kill what God has birthe
Like regal crowns my heads is held high
No defeat but rather, destined to thrive
Careless whispers inflict pain but will not maim
Purpose came before condemnation set in
All Evil seeds sowed are forever destined to die.
For all those who are grounded in Purpose
